Gastrointestinal autonomic nerve (GAN) tumor. Ultrastructural evidence for a newly recognized entity.

摘要: We describe three cases of spindle cell tumors arising in the gastrointestinal tract, each with ultrastructural features that recapitulate morphology enteric autonomic nervous system. These include presence small, dense core granules synthetic-secretory Golgi structures, sparsely distributed within ample tumor-cell cytoplasm, near plasma-membrane surfaces and axons. Tumor cells had elongated processes axons contained small granular vesicles, clear or large, vesicles. Specific diagnostic for smooth-muscle cell, Schwann fibroblast cellular origin were absent.
