摘要: Abrstract At the present work, effect of cathodic charging on mechanical properties leaded α/β brass cast alloy was investigated. The conditions test samples were as follows: current density: (a) 5 mA/cm2, (b) 20 mA/cm2, (c) 40 mA/cm2 and (d) 55 mA/cm2. durations 5 h, 10 h, 15 h, 25 h (e) 50 h. For that underwent tensile stress at three different rates loading, following hydrogen selected: 20 mA/cm2 with time 20 h 40 h. All subjected to tests a constant deformation rate 10−4sec−1. main conclusions for above investigation are average value microhardness surface cathodically charged found increase in density density, addition an decrease increased distance from sample's surface. maximum width affected area, under experiment, 550 μm. ductility notably reduced compared uncharged material, material.
