摘要: The aim of this work is the in vitro study late effects single proton irradiation on HTB63 human melanoma cell growth, cycle and death. experimental conditions were focused analyzing periphery tumour that can be, clinical practice, close to critical organs. Confluent monolayers irradiated with doses ranging from 1 - 20 Gy, using beams having an energy 22.6 MeV at target. Antiproliferative effect protons, analysis initiation death, followed 48 hours after irradiation. inhibition growth was observed, especially application 12 16 Gy. Cell viability have shown G2/M G1/G0 arrest cells correlating increase applied dose. flow cytometric has presence apoptotic nuclei. These data demonstrate under chosen conditions, significant being dose dependent, appearance nuclei, even results obtained may help understanding relationship between proliferation, death regulation melanomas
