摘要: Aim The study was conducted to assess the sympathovagal balance in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) using short-term heart rate variability (HRV) analysis and conventional autonomic function tests (CAFT). Methods Thirty-one newly diagnosed PCOS 30 age-matched controls were recruited. Body mass index (BMI), waist : hip ratio (WHR), cardiovascular parameters such as basal (BHR), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic (DBP) rate-pressure product (RPP), fasting glucose (FBG) measured both groups. Cardiovascular functions assessed spectral of HRV, response standing (30:15 ratio), deep breathing (E:I ratio) isometric handgrip (ΔDBP(ihg)). Results cases had significantly increased BMI, WHR, BHR, SBP, DBP RPP. Ratio low-frequency high-frequency power HRV (LF-HF marker compared controls. Time-domain indices E:I decreased, 30:15 ratio, ΔDBP(ihg) FBG cases. Though there a significant correlation LF-HF RPP FBG, only BHR independent contribution ratio. Conclusion We conclude that have altered modulation form sympathetic decreased parasympathetic reactivity HRV. imbalance exposes them morbidities.
