摘要: We investigated the U238(d,p) reaction as a surrogate for n+U238 reaction. For this purpose we measured first time γ-decay and fission probabilities of U∗239 simultaneously compared them to corresponding neutron-induced data. present details procedure infer decay probabilities, well thorough uncertainty analysis, including parameter correlations. Calculations based on continuum-discretized coupled-channels method distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) were used correct our data from detected protons originating elastic inelastic deuteron breakup. In region where γ emission compete, corrected probability is in agreement with data, whereas much higher than have performed calculations statistical model average angular momentum populated DWBA interpret these results.
