摘要: Abstract Water is present in all natural materials at varying concentrations and plays an important role the supercritical (SC) CO2 extraction of lipids from different matrices. The objective this paper was to study effect moisture on oil extractability Atlantic mackerel by SC-CO2 apply a mathematical model. fillets were freeze-dried levels (62.2, 40.5, 21.4, 10.1 3.7%, w/w) prior 35°C, 34.5 MPa. amount water extract fractions collected every 30 min determined using Karl–Fischer titration method. With decrease content fish muscle, total increased while extracted over 7 h decreased. Effluent concentration close its solubility, 2.67 kg m−3 conditions for 3.7% level. Oil solubility decreased significantly ≥40.5%. 0.3 kg m−3 62.2% substantially below level pure water. A model that incorporated negative interaction between phase simulated experimental data solubility-controlled region. Better understanding complex interactions SC-CO2–oil–water–solid matrix will lead improved process design optimization processes
