摘要: As the traditional knowledge organization systems (KOS) like classification, thesauri are paving way for ontologies, transtechnological data models and semantic networks of exchange provide impetus developing digital libraries. This paper attempts to find KOS in early libraries, how they can be integrated with library architectures using emergent semantic technologies data. Metadata remains as a core area at heart Semantic Web realizing semantics on machines is challenging task services development. Knowledge representation explore nature metadata their relationships. new-breed social potentialities, approaches organizing enjoining libraries light evolving highlighted.
