摘要: PURPOSE: To study the effect of barium sulfate on wound healing in gastrointestinal tract rat. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Sixty rats weighing approximately 320 g were divided into four groups: Fifteen control had gastric, small-bowel, and colonic incisions; 15 gastric incision; small-bowel incision. Barium was placed incision before closure all except those group, effects documented clinically histopathologically for 3 months. Autopsy performed five from each group at 1, 4, 12 weeks. The incisions receiving compared with rats. RESULTS: There no difference clinical course (weight gain, activity, viability) between experimental groups. Early late autopsy findings histopathologic grading inflammatory response similar both groups...
