摘要: Abstract 1. Barium peritonitis can be a catastrophic, life-threatening complication of routine barium enema. 2. Animal research and our experience with one patient have suggested new therapeutic approach for use in some patients. Antibiotic vigorous fluid therapy alone or simple cecostomy should adopted patients who are considered poor surgical risks. 3. Large volumes fluids administered early essential, regardless the decision on intervention.
