摘要: People with ESRD are at a high risk for hip fracture. However, the effect of moderate to severe chronic kidney disease (CKD) on fracture has not been well studied. As part Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, information both function history was obtained. This survey is complex, multistage, probability sample US noninstitutionalized civilian population conducted between 1988 1994. A identified from response questionnaire that administered all participants. There were 159 cases significantly increased likelihood reporting in participants estimated GFR <60 ml/min (odds ratio [OR] 2.12; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.18 3.80). In younger (aged 50 74 yr), prevalence CKD approximately three-fold higher those versus without (19.0 6.2%, respectively; P = 0.04). multivariate logistic regression analysis, only presence (OR 2.32; CI 1.13 4.74), reported osteoporosis 2.52; 1.08 5.91), low physical activity levels 2.10; 1.03 4.27) associated significant association degrees CKD, particularly individuals, independent traditional factors
