摘要: Sedatives and neuromuscular blockers are widely used in intensive care units (ICUs), especially patients receiving mechanical ventilation [1]. The main objective of sedation is to increase patient comfort tolerance the ICU environment, particularly ventilator [2]. Tracheal intubation, mode setting, tracheal suction largely contribute discomfort, pain, dyssynchrony, anxiety mechanically-ventilated patients. most important deleterious effects sedatives a delayed recovery consciousness after acute phase illness, prolongation stay. These may also be further increased by concomitant administration blockers, which treat organ dysfunction severely ill [3], but lead prolonged blockade, development axonal or myopathic changes [4]. aim this chapter was systematically review different blockade drugs strategies on comfort, clinical function duration
