摘要: Recent developments in information and communication technology are allowing new experiences the integration, analysis visualization of biodiversity information, leading to development a field research, informatics. Although this has great potential diverse realms, including basic biology, human economics, public health, much remains be explored. The success several concerted international efforts depends largely on broad deployment informatics products. Several global regional organizing providing data for conservation sustainable Global Biodiversity Information Facility, European Network, Inter-American Network. Critical is building infrastructure, making primary freely openly available over Internet. In addition specimen taxonomic data, access non-biological environmental critical spatial modeling biodiversity. Adoption standards protocols tools collection management, data- cleaning, georeferencing, tools, quantum leap area. Open research open-source era web services computational frameworks analysis, bringing opportunities dimensions novel approaches ecological predictive modeling, synthesis information.
