Social Justice, Research, and Adolescence

摘要: In what ways might research on adolescence contribute to social justice? My 2014 Presidential Address identified strategies for justice in our field. First, we need that is conscious of biases, power, and privilege science, as well roles scholars. Second, attends inequities lives adolescents, scholars question the may unwittingly reinforce those inequalities. Third, urgencies, is, issues or conditions influence adolescents’ well-being which demand attention action. I draw from a range concepts theoretical perspectives make case framework adolescence.
