Quality of Life of Severely Mentally Ill Individuals: A Comparative Study

摘要: This survey compared the subjective quality oflife (SQOL) of severely mentally ill patients (n = 59)receiving community support services with a randomsample from general population members 253) and welfare recipients 79). Researchparticipants lived in two cities Northwest Quebec.The Satisfaction Life Domain Scale (Baker &Intagliata, 1982) was used face to interviews, also administered as mail-inquestionnaire for population. Results showthat patients' life as-a-whole islower than Mentally were more satisfied material domains(e.g., housing finances) recipients.However, less withinterpersonal relationships, including people they live with, family their lovelife.
