Sustainable management of forest in view of media attention to REDD + policy, opportunity and impact in Cambodia

摘要: Abstract The media plays a vital role in raising public awareness and concerns. This study analyzed attention to the policy, opportunity impact of REDD + towards enhancing sustainable forest management mitigating climate change. Content analysis, case e-Delphi methods were employed. We collected 178 news articles from four outlets Cambodia examined discourses led by National Program Secretariat, TVK Radio FM102 for period 2011–2016. findings revealed that Secretariat collaboration with two spread message nationwide journalists gained knowledge jointly set agenda government institutions. Four other reputable national published few on REDD +. survey experts found key challenges limiting responsible institutions did not share information about events general had limited technical issues difficult. strongly highlighted framing is most comprehensive choice gain policy makers impact.
