摘要: Anti-microbial compositions are described which contain iodide and thiocyanate anions, an oxidoreductase enzyme, namely glucose oxidase, its corresponding oxidisable substrate, D-glucose. Such may advantageously further comprise a peroxidase such as lactoperoxidase. The have excellent anti-microbial properties effective against bacteria, yeasts moulds. be provided in concentrated substantially non-reacting forms dry powders non-aqueous solutions diluted to provide with broad spectrum activity. Compositions used preservatives or active agents providing potent activity of use oral hygiene, deodorant anti-dandruff products.
