摘要: Chromium (Cr) is a well established carcinogen, with Cr(III) accounting for much of the intracellular oxidative damage that this transition metal induces. Indole-3-propionic acid (IPA), melatonin-related molecule, reported antioxidant and free radical scavenger. Concentration (1, 10, 100, 500, or 1000 μM) time (15, 30, 45, 60, 90 min)-dependent effects in presence H2O2 (0.5 mM), as protective effect IPA on Cr(III)-induced alterations membrane fluidity (the inverse rigidity), an index damage, were estimated by fluorescence spectroscopy. Cr(III), concentration- time-dependent manner, decreased fluidity, marked at concentration 500 μM 60 min incubation. (5, 3, 1 mM) prevented decrease fluidity. It concluded carcinogen H2O2, generates radicals, which rat microsomal membranes. Membrane are pharmacologically IPA.
