摘要: Abstract Ten samples of loess and palaeosols collected from the Costinesti–Dobrogea (Romania) deposit covering a time span about 690 ± 90 ka were analyzed by X-ray diffraction, Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis Fluorescence in order to determine origin as well climatic conditions during deposition. The presence illite calcite suggests reduced weathering, confirmed climate proxies. Chemical Index Alteration (54.6–64.0), Weathering (65.7–71.7) Rb/Sr (0.26–0.47) lower than neighboring Hungarian loess, but closer average loess. content 28 trace elements, including 10 REE, an rock composition close Upper Continental Crust. elevated Cr Ni indicated certain amount felsic material. Zr Hf whose was more twice that Crust indicate significant sediment sorting. low values proxies absence any statistical difference between palaeosol material rather limited weathering formation south-eastern Dobrogea deposits.
