摘要: Abstract Potato is an important food crop with high yields. However when exposed to drought it suffers major yield losses. Considering its global importance and the increasing incidence of due climate change, research toward tolerance in potato remains imperative. We have studied a set 103 commercial cultivars representing genetic diversity European market. The were grown different field locations three subsequent years (2013–2015). Our aim was understand how regimes affect canopy growth potato, these effects translate tuber yield. environmental conditions monitored, pictures ground cover during growing season taken. Canopy parameters extracted by iterative method using beta sigmoid function model growth. At harvest, scored size graded. GGE (Genotype Genotype-by-Environment) bi-plot Finlay Wilkinson’s Regression used investigate Genotype x Environment interactions. observed that timing occurrence differentially affected Under stress, fast attainment exponential maximum had negative on formation bulking. Growth rate, cover, area under curve (photosynthetic capacity over season) more for bulking than they stress. Cultivars identified as potential material improvement tolerance. These findings will contribute breeding drought-tolerant amidst threats change.
