摘要: Our objective was to investigate the possible factors driving relationship between ciliates and copepods in a floodplain; for this purpose, we collected samples from upper Parana River floodplain Brazil, lotic lentic habitats (rivers, channels, lakes), which amounted 36 sampling sites during two hydrological periods. results presented significant difference regarding bacterial density, host abundance, prevalence of infestation performed limnophase potamophase. The nutrient pool alteration aquatic systems flood changes abiotic characteristics water such as temperature, turbidity, ammonium ion, total nitrogen, phosphorus chlorophyll concentrations, accordingly food availability (bacterial density) thus influencing epibiont ciliates. indicate that both extrinsic (e.g., physical chemical), intrinsic abundance) are regulating populations floodplain.
