摘要: Publisher Summary Using the wealth of physiological data available from decades biophysical research in conjunction with more recent biochemical and structural information, new models sodium channel structure are being proposed, tested, refined. In addition to unraveling common themes that underlie general aspects function, increasing attention is also directed toward subtler differences structure, which may be responsible for various subtypes channels expressed normal nerve muscle. The future can marked by rapid advances understanding both relationships structure-to-structure function this important membrane ion regulatory factors control its expression.
