摘要: Time-resolved two-photon photoemission spectroscopy allows an insight to be gained into ultrafast dynamic surface processes. In this chapter, we first discuss the relaxation dynamics of excited electrons and holes for metals, also describe behavior excitonic states on bandgap materials which show lifetimes well microsecond regime. Electron transfer processes adsorbates are discussed typical examples. New approaches photoelectron imaging with time resolution presented extend time-resolved investigations localized nanoparticles. Lifetime maps allow study exciting prospects propagation plasmon polaritons subfemtosecond resolution. Phase- polarization- controlled optical fields open a new area nanoscopic studies subwavelength spatial femtosecond resolution.
