Evolution of transverse permeability with DC-field in Co-based metallic glass ribbons

摘要: A simple model is proposed that allows to calculate the penetration depth and mean transverse permeability in magnetic elements of a rectangular cross-section they are used study giant magnetoimpedance effect. As an instance use this model, both mentioned quantities were calculated for Co-based metallic glass ribbon. Their evolution with applied axial DC-field at various frequencies AC-current, flowing along ribbon, presented. comparison experimental data those by shows latter gives only qualitative approximation measured dependencies.
