摘要: Abstract Two patients with pancreatic cholera and islet-cell carcinoma were treated intra-arterial streptozotocin. Before therapy, they had stool volumes from 2 to 8 liters per day required 200 800 mEq of supplemental potassium. After three five doses streptozotocin (1.5 g square meter), both volume number size hepatic metastases decreased markedly. One patient has normally formed stools for 12 months; the other a 90 cent reduction in 13 months additional therapy. Both patients' serum potassium returned normal without need supplementation.
