摘要: Purpose: The aim of this pilot study was to determine the effect soft tissue technique (STT) in Axillary Web Syndrome (AWS) following sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy breast cancer patients by examining upper extremity function, range motion, and pain. Methods: Nineteen with cancer–related AWS were evaluated. STT performed on symptom area for treatment symptoms. We evaluated symptoms pain intensity using a visual analogue scale (VAS), functional disability Korean version Disabilities Arm, Shoulder, Hand (DASH) questionnaire, glenohumeral joint (GHJ) flexion abduction motion (ROM) or without elbow extension. Results: Visual analyses data suggest modest improving GHJ flexion, ROM extension, DASH Pain. statistically significant improvement baseline observed pain, DASH, made it impossible assess effects those outcomes. There no adverse events. Conclusions: may be an effective safe option recovering from treatment; however, further research is needed.
