摘要: To investigate patient, cancer and treatment characteristics in females with breast from more remote areas of Australia, to better understand reasons for their poorer outcomes, bi-variable multivariable analyses were undertaken using the National Breast Cancer Audit database Society Surgeons Australia New Zealand. Results indicated that patients likely be lower socioeconomic status treated earlier diagnostic epochs at inner regional rather than major city centres. They also by low case load surgeons, although this finding was only marginal statistical significance analysis (p=0.074). Patients less those cities conserving surgery, as opposed mastectomy, have adjuvant radiotherapy when having surgery. had a higher rate chemotherapy. Further monitoring will important determine whether surgery utilization increase rural following introduction centres recently funded improve service access these areas.
