摘要: Abstract Thermal and spectroscopic studies have been carried out on a number of glasses with wide ranging compositions in the pseudoternary glass system Li 2 O–PbO–B O 3 order to understand structural role PbO these glasses. Infrared, Raman, 11 B MAS-NMR results indicate that behaves as network former is possibly incorporated [PbO 4/2 ] 2− units. The formation units leads creation neutral three-coordinated boron (B 0 ) which, turn, reformation four-coordinated − 4 structure at expense two-coordinated singly coordinated 1 atoms. variations transition temperatures ( T g molar volumes also support this model.
