摘要: This study investigates the independent effects of land use on house-hold travel behavior, controlling for sociodemographic differences among households. It appears that even in a sprawling sunbelt environment, patterns matter. However, their effect is not exactly as envisioned by advocates. Accessibility to regional activities has much more household than does density or mix immediate area; accessibility frequency and length trips mode travel; these relationships can be best understood terms multi-purpose trip making.
