摘要: This study examined participants’ perceptions of learning, critical elements, and lasting impacts their wilderness expeditions. Fifty-seven students, who completed a for-credit canoe expedition between 1993 2007 at the Augustana Campus, University Alberta, participated in investigation. Perceived learning most commonly related to nature place appreciation, outdoor skills, group living, self-awareness. Critical elements for were experiential approach, immersion. In terms expedition, perceived had changed since 88% especially areas self-awareness, greater appreciation experience, due reflection passage time.
