Surgical and metabolic management of patients with external fistulas of the small intestine associated with Crohn's disease

摘要: In order to define more clearly the principles of surgical and metabolic management patients with external small bowel fistulas in association Crohn's disease, a consecutive series 85 (26 disease) was studied. The were all managed by one surgeon and, last 60 patients, according standard protocol. 19 cases, detailed studies (body composition, plasma proteins, total energy expenditure) conducted at intervals during period treatment.
