摘要: Abstract Highly transparent Er:YAG ceramics with different Er doping concentrations were fabricated by a reactive sintering method under vacuum. The optical properties and the microstructures of investigated. For 3 mm thickness samples, in-line transmittances as-fabricated at wavelength 1100 nm 400 nm about 84% 82%, respectively. micrograph exhibited pore-free structure average grain size was 10 μm. boundary clean no secondary phase detected. absorption emission spectra, fluorescence decay traces measured discussed. obtained may have potential use for eye-safe solid-state lasers partly replacing single crystals.
