Esthetic Failure in Implant Dentistry

摘要: The definition of failure for dental implants has evolved from lack osseointegration to increased concern other aspects, such as esthetics. However, esthetic in implant dentistry not been well defined. Although multiple indices have validated objectively evaluating clinical outcomes, including an implant-supported crown, only one author determined a threshold. On the basis objective indices, failures can be categorized pink-tissue and white-tissue failures. This article discusses failures, factors involved these their prevention treatment.
