摘要: Endometriosis is estimated to affect 10% of women during the reproductive years. The lack a non-invasive diagnostic test significantly contributes long delay between onset symptoms and definitive diagnosis endometriosis. This case–control study was conducted identify specific endometriosis antigens using 2D gel analysis in with (n = 5) without (n = 5). Differentially expresses spots were analyzed matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time-of-flight/mass spectrometry (nanoLC-ESI-MS/MS) MASCOT analysis, order corresponding proteins. ELISAs performed on different cohort (n = 120) healthy patients (n = 20) confirm differential expression identified ROC ELISA results confirmed statistical significance for one these proteins: Zn-alpha2-glycoprotein (P = 0.019). We propose level this protein serum as new J. Cell. Physiol. 229: 1731–1735, 2014. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
