摘要: Molecular mechanisms of surfactant delivery to the air/liquid interface in lung, which is crucial lower surface tension, have been studied for more than two decades. Lung synthesized alveolar type II cells. Its cell preceded by component synthesis, packaging into specialized organelles termed lamellar bodies, apical plasma membrane and fusion. Secreted undergoes reuptake, intracellular processing, finally resecretion recycled material. This review focuses on components their secretion from bodies. Lamellar bodies-independent also considered. Signal transduction pathways involved regulation these processes are discussed as well disorders associated with malfunction.
