摘要: Measurements of ultraviolet solar spectra from Palmer Station, Antarctica have defined the surface radiation environment region during Austral spring 1988. At wavelengths where absorption by ozone is negligible, 335–345 nm, noontime irradiances show expected gradual increase first day measurements, 19 September, through 21 December. Large variations related to cloudiness are imposed on this background. less than 310 nm influence 1988 “hole” apparent. The irradiance observed in wavelength band 295–305 October, two months prior summer solstice, exceeded any value measured
