摘要: Abstract The experimental study on the fatigue crack growth rate and threshold of high strength bridge steel WNQ570 base metal butt weld has been performed. Two data processing methods are conducted to derive parameters 95% survival probability. It turns out that based each specimen is larger than group method in terms normal stress intensity range (10–70 MPa m0.5). rates increase thresholds decrease with increasing ratios. For batch utilized this research, lower weld. performance also better other common steels including HPS485W, 14MnNbq, Q345qD universal provided by BS7910 IIW-1823-07. Based measured FCGR parameters, numerical simulation Franc3D ABAQUS can precisely predict life compact tension specimens, which demonstrates appropriate be applied assessment practice whole bridges linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM).
