摘要: The Telfer concentrator, located in the Great Sandy Desert of Western Australia, consists a dual train gold/copper operation processing ore from one underground and, currently, two open pit mines with differing mineralogy. fl otation circuit each was designed to operate several modes depending on feed majority mined at is processed sequential mode where copper minerals are fi rst oated into saleable concentrate followed by an auriferous pyrite which treated on-site hydrometallurgical plant (carbon-in-leach (CIL)). Gold recovered as gravity product within primary grinding circuit, concentrate, and lesser extent, CIL circuit. Since re-opened, new 2004, has struggled poor grades, partially due excessive entrainment non-sulfi de gangue more recently, composite particles produced when supplementary satellite that not previously been through concentrator. recoveries have also below industry standard. This paper presents implementation recent changes made address these performance issues. reconfi guration involved installation following major equipment items: ISAMills™ ultra-fi ne applications (one circuit), Jameson Cells improve rejection bank 5 × Outotec TC30s recovery gold reground stream. purchased direct vendors engineering rm contracted design install multi-vendor upgrade.
