摘要: Emodin, an inhibitor of protein tyrosine kinase, possesses antiviral, immunosuppressive, anti-inflammatory and anticancer effects. In the present study, we investigated effect emodin on hyaluronic acid (HA)-induced invasion human glioma cells. Emodin significantly inhibited HA-induced through a Matrigel coated chamber, secretion matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2, MMP-9 in To investigate possible mechanisms involved these events, performed Western blot analysis using phospho-specific antibodies, found that phosphorylation focal adhesion kinase (FAK), extracellular regulated (ERK) 1/2 Akt/PKB; also suppressed transcriptional activity two transcription factors, activator protein-1 (AP-1) nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-kappaB), addition, oral administration vivo MMP by tumors nude mice. Taken together, our results indicate can effectively inhibit inhibition FAK, ERK1/2 Akt/PKB activation partial AP-1 NF-kappaB activities. Consequently, provide important insights into as anti-invasive agent for therapy glioma.
