摘要: Abstract Sequences related to the Staphylococcus aureus accessory gene regulator ( agr ) were demonstrated in S. lugdunensis by Southern blot analysis of 13 strains and sequencing -like locus agr-sl ). Northern cellular RNA revealed presence a transcript having homology with -P3 (RNAIII) for three six tested. The containing this produce hemolysin phenotypic properties similar that δ-hemolysin. Nevertheless, unlike from aureus, does not encode any potential peptides homologous δ-hemolysin, suggesting hemolytic activity detected is encoded elsewhere may be controlled .
