摘要: Paradoxical reactions during tuberculosis are defined by exacerbation of clinical symptoms or laboratory radiologic abnormalities antituberculosis treatment when an antiretroviral is added to it. This phenomenon does not involve relapse the opportunistic infection but rather a reconstitution abnormal immune response. The relatively frequent after begins in HIV-infected patients with tuberculosis. Diagnosis, based on group heterogeneous and/or criteria, often difficult. Although outcome most spontaneously favorable, complications possible. Treatment relies maintenance specific pathogen responsible for infection, treatment, and possibly addition corticosteroid therapy.
