Glory structure in the N2N2 total integral scattering cross section. A test for the intermolecular potential energy surface

摘要: Abstract The first measurement of the glory structure total integral cross section for scattering N2 against is reported collision velocity range 500–3000 m s−1. A comparison made between measured and calculations carried out within infinite-order sudden dynamical approximation using a previously proposed N2N2 interaction potential [J. Chem. Phys. 84 (1986) 1629]. Reasonable agreement found calculated structure. There are, however, small but meaningful differences two results, indicating that negative area should be increased slightly.
