摘要: The overall metabolism of purines was studied in tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) mesophyll protoplasts. Metabolic pathways were by measuring the conversion radioactive adenine, adenosine, hypoxanthine and guanine into purine ribonucleotides, ribonucleosides, bases nucleic acid constituents. Adenine extensively deaminated to hypoxanthine, whereupon it also converted AMP incorporated acids. Adenosine mainly hydrolysed adenine. Inosinate formed from GMP, which then catabolized adenine guanosine respectively. Guanine xanthine acids via GTP. Increased RNA synthesis protoplasts resulted enhanced incorporation guanine, but not fraction. pattern purine-nucleotide metabolic leaf is proposed.
