摘要: The aim of the present clinical trial was to evaluate effect different modes periodontal therapy on patients with moderately advanced disease and express findings in terms probing pocket depth attachment level alterations at sites initial depths. material consisted 16 patients, 35-65 years age. Following a Baseline examination including assessments oral hygiene status, gingival conditions, depths levels, were subjected treatment. A "split-mouth" design approach used jaw quadrants randomly selected for following treatment procedures: (1) scaling root planning, (2) planing conjunction gingivectomy procedure, (3) an apically repositioned flap procedure without bone recontouring, (4) (5) modified Widman recontouring (6) recontouring. active enrolled supervised maintenance care program "professional tooth cleaning" once every 2 weeks during 6-month period healing, after which final performed. investigation demonstrated that meticulous subgingival debridement resulted low frequency bled probing, high shallow pockets (less than 4 mm) disappearance greater 6 mm. Between re-examination, initially remained basically unaltered, but tendency minor apical shift. This occurred all groups. For 4-6 mm mm, there groups some gain attachment. most pronounced deeper (greater pockets. With use regression analysis, "critical depth" (CPD) value (i.e. below loss as result above resulted) calculated each methods used. comparison CPD-values between did not reveal any major differences.
