Effect of tumor necrosis factor α and β on human oligodendrocytes and neurons in culture

摘要: Abstract Cytokines produced by infiltrating hematogenous cells or glial activated during the course of central nervous system disease trauma are implicated as mediators tissue injury. In this study, we have assessed extent and mechanism injury human-derived CNS oligodendrocytes neurons in vitro mediated cytokines tumor necrosis factor α β compared these with independent effects CD4 + T-cells. We found that T-cells, but not β, could induce significant release lactate dehydrogenase, a measure cell membrane lysis, from within 24 hr.
