摘要: Summary Previous studies established that a pocket of highly acidic gastric juice is present postprandially at the gastroesophageal junction in man. The GABA-B agonist baclofen inhibits postprandial reflux events through its effects on lower esophageal sphincter (LES). aim current study was to investigate whether would affect location and extent acid healthy volunteers. Twelve volunteers underwent two different occasions, least 1 week apart. LES position determined preprandially with pull-through manometry. Dual pH electrode manometry probe stepwise (1 cm/minute, LES–10 +5 cm) performed 30-minute intervals for 150 minutes, administration placebo or 40 mg after first ingestion liquid meal second pull-through. After placebo, significant drop intragastric meal, reflecting pocket, this associated pressure. Baclofen did not presence but prevented pressure, above upper margin manometrically located significantly decreased by (1.6 ± 0.7 vs. 0.3 ± 0.4 cm 60 2.2 ± 0.6 0.2 ± 0.6 90 1.5 ± 0.5 0.7 ± 0.7 cm 120 all P < 0.05). does alter limits extension into distal esophagus, probably an increase
