摘要: Private-sector organizations play a critical role in shaping the food environments of individuals and populations. However, there is currently very limited independent monitoring private-sector actions related to environments. This paper reviews previous efforts monitor private sector this area, outlines proposed approach policies practices environments, their influence on obesity non-communicable disease (NCD) prevention. A step-wise data collection recommended, which first (‘minimal’) step collation publicly available nutrition-related selected organizations. The second (‘expanded’) assesses nutritional composition each organization's products, promotions children, labelling practices, accessibility, availability affordability products. third (‘optimal’) includes other commercial activities that may such as political lobbying corporate philanthropy. will be further developed piloted countries varying size income levels.
