Telehealth and the recruitment and retention of physicians in rural and remote regions: a Delphi study.

摘要: INTRODUCTION The availability of a medical workforce is growing concern for rural and remote communities across Canada. In the last decade, various telehealth experiences have highlighted potential impact this technology on professional as well organizational practices. But could be strategy to attract maintain physicians in communities? objective study was identify reliable list recruitment retention factors which an impact. METHODS We conducted 2 literature reviews Delphi among 12 experts RESULTS identified 7 categories impact: 1) individual, 2) familial, 3) contextual, 4) professional, 5) organizational, 6) educational, 7) economic. CONCLUSIONS Experts consulted through reached consensus 31 out 34 proposed statements about telehealth. This can now used conceptual model further studies topic.
