摘要: This article highlights the development of biodegradable flame-retardant composites using a compression technique on low-cost starch, flax fabric (FF) and ammonium polyphosphate (APP) raw materials. The starch was plasticized into thermoplastic through mechano-ball milling process were developed by reinforcing FF incorporating varying amounts APP. effects APP flammability thermal properties studied. Limited oxygen index horizontal-burning tests exhibited significant sustainability toward flame direct self-extinguishment. It observed that at higher temperatures, leads to formation thermally stable char. retardant speculated be due protective compact crosslinked network (POP POC) reported include improvement in mechanical biodegradation properties. investigation provides design novel green with excellent
