摘要: Meniere's disease (MD) is a common disorder of the inner ear whose hallmarks are vertigo, tinnitus, aural fullness, and progressive hearing loss. The degree severity quite heterogeneous, so its pathogenesis. A multifactorial inheritance intrinsic extrinsic factors has been described, but there not agreement on molecular basis MD. In recent article, we have demonstrated that patients suffering from MD share plasma proteomic signature, characterized by presence several up- down-regulated proteins. this study, further extended our analysis show differential expression proteins can identify specific subsets MD-affected individuals, depending their stage. Our findings confirm proteomics-driven approach as powerful tool for early diagnosis uncover potentially starring role some in development fate frustrating disease, pathogenesis still remains unclear.
