摘要: Object The purpose of this study was to assess the impact minimal residual calcification without enhancing tumor on rate recurrence after gross-total resection (GTR) craniopharyngioma in children. Methods Data were retrospectively collected 86 patients younger than 21 years age whom 103 resections performed by senior author between 1986 and 2008. Forty-nine (27 boys 22 girls, with a mean 8.6 years) fulfilled criteria for inclusion having preoperative CT scan, undergoing GTR, complete postoperative MR imaging clinical follow-up.
